The role of the valve is to input air into the engine and discharge the exhaust gas after combustion. The difference in the number of valves increases the rate of intake and exhaust, and enhances the performance of the engine.

Motorcycle engines can be two-stroke engines and four-stroke engines.

1. Two-stroke engine: Every time the crankshaft of the engine rotates one revolution, the piston reciprocates two strokes up and down to complete a working cycle.

2. Four-stroke engine: every time the engine crankshaft rotates two revolutions, that is, the piston reciprocates four strokes up and down to complete a working cycle.
