The function of the engine valve guide is to guide the movement of the valve, ensure the reciprocating linear motion of the valve, make the valve and the valve seat fit correctly, and transfer the heat of the valve stem to the cylinder head. Due to the high working temperature and poor lubricity of the valve guide, cast iron or iron-based powder metallurgy materials with high graphite content are usually used to improve its self-lubricating performance. The installation method of the valve guide: the inner and outer cylindrical surfaces of the valve guide are processed and pressed into the valve guide hole of the cylinder head or cylinder block, and then the inner hole of the hinge is finished. To prevent axial rotation, snap ring retaining grooves are provided, which prevent the catheter from moving and falling into the barrel while working with the retaining snap ring. Normally, there is a slight gap between the valve stem and the valve guide so that the valve stem can move freely in the guide.
